BJP Legislator Praises Ban on Analog Dairy Products, Calls Adulteration an Organized Crime

Gonda, August 16: BJP legislator Pratik Bhushan Singh has welcomed the state government’s ban on analog dairy products. He emphasized the need for strict action against those producing adulterated milk, cheese, and other dairy items, stating that adulteration has now become an organized crime.

Pratik Bhushan Singh remarked, “Adulteration has turned into a severe organized crime today. I thank Chief Minister Yogi for addressing this issue and imposing a ban on the production and sale of fake cheese, milk, and yogurt. Our government recently took stringent measures against adulteration in food products, and we have received very positive feedback.”

He alleged, “With upcoming festivals and events, some factories are producing large quantities of fake products at low prices. In the pursuit of cheaper dairy products for these occasions, some factories are running entire operations that jeopardize public health. The government must take action against such individuals.”

The legislator cited an example of a factory in Kanpur, where 15 types of dairy products are produced at a single location, with their business extending across several regions. He stated, “I am aware of a case where a trader complained about a factory in Kanpur that produces 15 dairy products. Their operations have expanded across multiple regions. Such factories will be held accountable, and individuals will be imprisoned under serious charges. Our government will take strict measures on this front. I have high hopes for the Yogi government and thank them for taking steps in this direction.”

Pratik Bhushan Singh urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to investigate not only dairy products but also the chemicals used in vegetables and food items. He said, “I request CM Yogi to look into the chemicals being used on vegetables. We need to delve deep into not just the products but also the substances applied to them.”

He concluded, “To effectively combat organized crime, CM Yogi has taken steps. We have an opportunity to implement strict measures for food security across the state and the country. Adulterators should face severe penalties to deter any future attempts.”
