BJP Launches Awareness Campaign in Bihar to Celebrate 12 Years of Modi Government

Patna, June 5: The President of the Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sanjay Sarawagi, announced in Patna that a significant public outreach and awareness campaign will be conducted across Bihar from June 5 to June 21, marking the completion of 12 years of the Modi government. The campaign aims to inform the public about government schemes, development projects, and welfare policies.

Sanjay Sarawagi stated that the entire program will be based on the themes of trust, development, and public welfare. The BJP has decided to celebrate this period as a fortnight of activities. Various events will be organized in all districts and regions of the state to engage as many people as possible with the government’s achievements.

The campaign commenced on June 5, coinciding with International Environment Day. From this day until June 20, exhibitions will be held in each district showcasing the schemes, development projects, and achievements of both the central and state governments. The public will be informed about the areas where the government has made significant progress over the years.

Additionally, there will be a strong emphasis on promoting organic and natural farming. It was highlighted that excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides is affecting both soil and health. To encourage farmers towards organic farming, workshops will be organized at the district level.

The cleanliness campaign will also be a crucial part of this initiative. From June 8 to June 14, a cleanliness drive will take place throughout the state. Party workers will participate in the cleanliness campaign for at least two days in their respective areas. The goal is to convey the message that cleanliness is not just the government’s responsibility but a duty of every citizen.

During this period, a ‘Pragati Path Yatra’ will also be conducted. In this initiative, party workers and public representatives will inspect the implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level. They will visit ongoing projects to assess the situation and engage with the community.

Moreover, a special outreach campaign will run from June 8 to June 14, where party workers will connect with prominent and influential individuals in society, including Padma awardees, doctors, engineers, teachers, farmers, and social workers. They will be informed about the achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years, along with a booklet detailing these accomplishments.

Legislators and other representatives have also been urged to meet with people in their areas to ensure the success of this campaign. Programs will be organized in every assembly constituency to inform local residents about government schemes and development activities.

Media interaction programs will also be held during the campaign. Ministers, MPs, and senior party leaders will visit districts to engage with journalists and share the government’s achievements, aiming to provide accurate information to the public.

From June 12 to June 20, welfare camps will be set up to inform citizens about various government schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, PM Surya Home Scheme, PM Svanidhi Scheme, and others. Applications will be collected, and efforts will be made to provide benefits on the spot in many cases.

Between June 15 and June 20, ‘Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Sammelan’ will be organized, inviting various sections of society, including teachers, doctors, lawyers, retired officials, NGOs, businesspersons, farmers, students, and public representatives. Individuals who have made significant contributions to their fields or society will also be invited.
