BJP Criticizes Rahul Gandhi Over Emergency Comments

New Delhi, June 5: BJP leaders targeted Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha and a Congress member, on Thursday, labeling him as chaotic and desperate.

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari described the opposition leader as a dangerous and disorderly individual. In an interview with a news agency, he stated, “Rahul Gandhi has realized that he cannot come to power in a democratic manner. Wherever he goes, the youth of the country and Gen-Z support Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, as a dynast, Rahul Gandhi cannot stay away from power, which is why he has started speaking against India’s democracy.”

He further added, “The people of the country have understood everything; they will not let Rahul Gandhi’s conspiracy succeed.”

BJP Telangana president N. Ramchandra Rao reminded everyone that it was the Congress party, under the leadership of then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, that imposed the Emergency in 1975.

He stated, “Rahul Gandhi’s claim that Prime Minister Modi could take stringent actions like the Emergency is a big joke. The mentality of imposing an Emergency belongs to the Congress party, as they were the ones who implemented it.”

He also noted, “It was the Janata Party that fought against the Emergency and restored democracy in the country.”

Labeling Congress as ‘anti-democratic,’ state BJP president N. Ramchandra Rao added, “Rahul Gandhi has been disheartened due to being out of power at the center for many years. His frustration is manifesting through such nonsensical statements.”

Maharashtra Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule addressed the media, saying, “As long as PM Modi is in power, Rahul Gandhi should not worry about the country but focus on his family and party.”

Central Minister Prahlad Joshi echoed similar sentiments, stating, “For over 12 years, no one has accepted anything Rahul Gandhi has said. Today, India remains the fastest-growing economy.”

He continued, “Previously, he claimed that India was a dead economy. There is no seriousness in what he says. He always wants to belittle India in front of the world and its citizens, but the people of India have consistently rejected him.”

Haryana Minister Anil Vij remarked that the opposition leader has fallen into depression after repeatedly losing elections. He commented, “He should seek treatment from a good doctor.”
