Jaipur, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated a significant victory in the municipal elections, with National Secretary Rohan Gupta attributing the win to the party’s hard work and development agenda. Speaking in Jaipur, Gupta emphasized that voters rejected Congress’s claims and placed their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
“This victory reflects the blessings of the public,” Gupta stated. He urged citizens to give the “triple engine” of governance a chance, noting that the electorate has reaffirmed their trust in the BJP. “The message is clear: the public does not want conflict,” he added.
Gupta pointed out that while BJP leaders are united in their electoral efforts, Congress has splintered into multiple factions. He expressed gratitude to the people of Kota for “bursting the Congress balloon,” referring to what he deemed a false narrative created by the opposition. “The noise we heard from students was artificial, and the citizens of Kota have silenced that,” he remarked.
He further criticized Congress’s national narrative regarding student issues, claiming it has lost credibility. “In grassroots politics, the public rewards genuine effort, not mere rhetoric. The youth of Rajasthan have made it clear who they prefer,” Gupta asserted.
The BJP leader also highlighted the lack of paper leaks under the current administration, contrasting it with the past when Congress was in power. “The public remembers the failures of the past, and if your history is marred by such issues, they won’t trust your promises,” he said.
Gupta acknowledged the emergence of the Aam Aadmi Party with 32 seats but refrained from detailed analysis, stating that the overall results deflated the opposition’s narrative. “This is not just a local election; it sends a national message. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the people of Rajasthan,” he concluded.
