Ayodhya, September 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has issued a statement to clarify misleading information circulating in the media regarding the selection of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In a statement released by the Trust’s General Secretary, Swami Govind Dev Giri, the organization aims to correct inaccuracies and provide clarity on the selection process.
The Trust detailed that a search committee was formed on July 6, 2026, which received a total of 5,585 applications. A multi-tier evaluation was conducted in three cities: Delhi NCR, Pune, and Sambalpur, utilizing AI screening and manual expertise.
After this thorough evaluation, 16 candidates were shortlisted for face-to-face interviews held on August 11 and 12, 2026, in Ayodhya. Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra participated in the interview process on August 11, 2026. The search committee submitted its final report and recommendations to the Trust on September 1, 2026.
On September 2, 2026, the Trust publicly announced the names of the top three recommended candidates: Jitendra Mishra, Sanjay Pratap Singh Vishwas Rao, and Shruti Bhardwaj.
The Trust refuted claims that Jitendra Mishra was absent from the interview rounds, stating that his inclusion among the top three candidates serves as documented proof of his participation, evaluation, and merit-based selection.
The statement emphasized that the selection process adhered to the highest standards of institutional governance and transparency. Each stage was documented, and all final candidates were registered in Ayodhya. The Trust reiterated its commitment to transparency and will continue to provide factual information regarding the selection process for any inquiries.
