Bihars New Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary Takes Office, Promises Development

Patna, April 15: Samrat Chaudhary has officially taken the oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar during a ceremony held at Lok Bhawan on Wednesday. Alongside him, two Deputy Chief Ministers, Vijay Chaudhary and Vijendra Yadav, also took their oaths. The BJP welcomed Chaudhary at the Bihar BJP office, led by state president Sanjay Sarawagi.

After the oath-taking ceremony, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary addressed the media, stating, “Today, I have taken the oath for the prosperity of Bihar. From this day forward, I will begin working for the state. It is clear that only the models of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar will prevail in Bihar.”

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary remarked, “The goals of the new government are already clear. Our new Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, has affirmed that Bihar will continue on the path of development, good governance, and inclusive growth established by Nitish Kumar. We are committed to fulfilling the promise of a prosperous Bihar. The NDA government is in power, just as it was before, so there is no cause for concern.”

In response to a statement made by Tejashwi Yadav regarding Samrat Chaudhary, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “Ask him which school he graduated from. Inquire about his educational background.”

He also noted that the initiation of women’s reservation in Bihar is a credit to Nitish Kumar.

Following the oath ceremony, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi commented, “Samrat Chaudhary is very capable and experienced. He has been part of our cabinet before. The Patna Metro is our concept, and we sent him to Delhi to bring this project to fruition, which has been successfully advanced.”

BJP national spokesperson Syed Shah Nawaz Hussain stated, “It is fortunate for the BJP to have the Chief Minister’s position in the NDA. This NDA government will carry forward the works initiated by Nitish Kumar.”

BJP leader Ramkripal Yadav extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Samrat Chaudhary, expressing confidence that under his leadership, Bihar will progress and develop, realizing the dreams of Prime Minister Modi and Nitish Kumar.

BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi said, “Under Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s leadership, Bihar will advance further. Congratulations!” RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha added, “Samrat Chaudhary has been entrusted with a significant responsibility, and we all stand with him to ensure the government works effectively.”

Congress leader Ajit Sharma congratulated Samrat Chaudhary on becoming Chief Minister, expressing hope that he would meet the public’s expectations and advance Bihar, given that his party is in power at both the center and state levels.

JDU leader Leshi Singh emphasized that this is not just a BJP Chief Minister but one chosen by the NDA. The previous NDA government is now reinstated, having fought the elections on a joint manifesto, and the promises made will be fulfilled.

JDU Bihar state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha congratulated Samrat Chaudhary, stating that he will work to advance the achievements of our leader Nitish Kumar and his model of good governance.

BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy remarked, “In today’s significant change, if there is any major sacrifice, decision, or vision, it first belongs to Nitish Kumar. He has carved a unique place in the politics of Bihar and Indian politics for the 140 million people of Bihar.”

BJP MLA Maithili Thakur called it a historic day, congratulating Samrat Chaudhary on assuming his new responsibilities. “We all stand with him. All NDA members are fully prepared to work together under his guidance,” she stated.

BJP leader Dilip Kumar Jaiswal noted that after being elected as the leader of the NDA legislative party, Samrat Chaudhary took the oath of office today. With Nitish Kumar’s blessings and guidance, Bihar will progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal described this as a generational change, stating that the example set by Nitish Kumar over the past 21 years will now be carried forward by Samrat Chaudhary.

BJP MP Radhamohan Singh remarked that until 2004, Bihar’s condition remained stagnant. However, under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi, the government has propelled Bihar towards development, transforming it from a ‘Bimaru’ state to a prosperous one. Now, under the leadership of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Chaudhary and Vijendra Yadav, the pace of development in Bihar will accelerate even further.
