
Mumbai, April 18: The film “Bhoot Bangla,” starring Akshay Kumar, Rajpal Yadav, and Vamika Gabbi, has made a strong impression on audiences and achieved a remarkable start at the box office.
The film’s opening day collection has been impressive, including paid previews. Rajpal Yadav, known for his comedic talent, shared the film’s outstanding collection figures.
“Bhoot Bangla” has grossed approximately ₹21.60 crore worldwide on its opening day. Rajpal Yadav posted about the collection, stating, “The box office collection is as surprising as the laughter in theaters.”
According to media reports, the film garnered over ₹3 crore during paid previews across the country. However, the makers have yet to provide detailed information regarding the paid preview collections.
Expectations are high for “Bhoot Bangla,” as Akshay Kumar reunites with director Priyadarshan after a long hiatus. The duo has previously delivered numerous hits, including “Hera Pheri,” “De Dana Dan,” “Garam Masala,” “Hey Baby,” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.” This history has led to heightened anticipation among viewers.
Initially, the film was scheduled for release on April 10, but due to the impressive earnings of “Dhurdhar: The Revenge” and its rapid box office success, the release was postponed. “Bhoot Bangla” finally hit theaters on April 17, with a paid preview held a day earlier, on April 16.
