Mumbai, April 18: Actor Vinay Kumar Singh, who is working alongside Vijay Varma in the web series ‘Matka King’, has sparked excitement among fans regarding the upcoming second season. He revealed that his character, Darab Ahmed Wadkar, will have a more significant and impactful role this time around.
Vinay shared, “’Matka King’ is very special to me. We filmed it in 2025. In Season 1, my role was a guest appearance, but there will be much more to reveal in Season 2. For now, I don’t want to disclose too much.”
He added, “For now, just enjoy Season 1. I have always wanted to work with Nagraj Manjule and Siddharth Roy Kapur. Joining Roy Kapur Films has been a special experience for me. This is where my journey began, and Season 2 will bring even more.”

Vijay stated, “There were many scenes at the racecourse featuring some fantastic vintage cars. I asked the owner where I could see them. These cars are nearly 100 years old. Finding their parts and sourcing them from Germany or other places shows how well they are maintained.”
