
Mumbai, April 18: The film ‘Bhoot Bangla,’ starring Akshay Kumar, Rajpal Yadav, and Vamika Gabbi, has made a strong impression at the box office, winning over audiences right from its release.
On its opening day, the film achieved an impressive collection, which includes earnings from paid previews. Rajpal Yadav, known for his remarkable comedic talent, shared the film’s successful collection figures.
The film has grossed approximately ₹21.60 crore globally, marking a fantastic start. Rajpal Yadav took to social media to announce the collection, stating, “The box office figures are as surprising as the laughter echoing in theaters.”
According to media reports, the film garnered over ₹3 crore during its paid previews across the country. However, the makers have yet to provide detailed information regarding the paid preview earnings.
Expectations are high for ‘Bhoot Bangla,’ as Akshay Kumar reunites with director Priyadarshan after a significant hiatus. Their previous collaborations have consistently brought laughter to audiences, with hits like ‘Hera Pheri,’ ‘De Dana Dan,’ ‘Garam Masala,’ ‘Hey Baby,’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa.’ This history has led to heightened anticipation for their latest venture.
Originally, the film was slated for release on April 10, but due to the remarkable success of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and its rapid box office momentum, the release was postponed. ‘Bhoot Bangla’ finally hit theaters on April 17, with paid previews taking place a day earlier on April 16.
