Raipur, April 1: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced on Wednesday that Bastar is now racing towards peace, trust, and development.
CM Sai shared a five-minute video on the social media platform X, discussing the ‘Pandum Cafe,’ where employees shared their experiences.
He stated that the story of ‘Pandum Cafe’ symbolizes a journey from fear to trust. Once a symbol of Naxal violence and fear, Bastar is now on a swift path towards peace, trust, and development. The double-engine government’s rehabilitation policy has reintegrated thousands of lost souls into the mainstream, providing them with a dignified life and a new identity. Jagdalpur’s ‘Pandum Cafe’ is a living testament to this transformative change. Hands that once held guns now embrace hope, trust, and a passion for doing good. This is the changing Bastar, moving towards peace, respect, and a new future.
In another post, CM Sai highlighted that a new dawn of good governance has emerged in Bastar, illuminated by trust, development, and victory. Where shadows of red terror once obscured the innocence of this sacred land, a bright morning of development has now blossomed. This transformation is not merely a matter of time; it symbolizes the victory of resolve, courage, and trust. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the unwavering determination of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, this change has gained direction and momentum. The valor of security forces, the government’s robust policies, and the unwavering faith of the local populace have together forged a new history. Bastar, once synonymous with fear and disorientation, has now become a symbol of progress, opportunity, and hope.
It is noteworthy that ‘Pandum Cafe’ was inaugurated in Jagdalpur last November by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai himself. Many young individuals in Bastar have emerged, ready to leave the path of struggle and connect with society. These youths have received training in cafe management, customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and basic hospitality skills from the district administration and police.
