Baba Ramdev Claims All Indian Muslims Are Converts, Urges Unity with Hindu Roots

Mathura, September 30 (Daily Kiran) : Yoga guru Baba Ramdev stated on Wednesday that all Muslims in India are converts. He urged them to embrace Lord Ram and Lord Krishna as their ancestors to gain strength and unity.

His comments came in response to AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi’s assertion that no political party in India supports a distinct political identity for Muslims, suggesting that the community has been reduced to a mere vote bank.

Ramdev appealed to his Muslim brothers, emphasizing that ancient sages and saints are also their ancestors. He believes that recognizing these roots will empower them and eliminate feelings of weakness.

He further asserted that every Muslim in India has converted to Islam at some point. Ramdev posited that if Hindus and Muslims coexist harmoniously, both communities and the nation as a whole will grow stronger.

Earlier this year, Jamal Siddiqui, the national president of the BJP’s minority front, echoed similar sentiments. He stated that Muslims who do not believe in Ram and Krishna cannot be considered true Muslims, while also acknowledging the revered status of these figures in Islamic spiritual traditions. Siddiqui claimed that all Muslims are descendants of Lord Ram.

Additionally, Baba Ramdev responded to comments made by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy regarding Lord Shiva and Lord Ram. He defended Sanatan Dharma, asserting its enduring existence and condemning attempts to create divisions based on caste, class, or community. He noted that such divisive thinking is contrary to the essence of Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing that there should be no distinction among deities like Ram, Krishna, and Shiva.
