Baba Ramdev Calls for a Stronger India through Indigenous Education and Healthcare

Haridwar, 26 January – On Republic Day, Baba Ramdev urged the nation to build a superior India by focusing on indigenous education and healthcare. Speaking on Monday, he highlighted the challenges posed by the United States imposing heavy tariffs on various countries, describing this as a form of “tariff terrorism.”

Emphasising Self-Reliance and Indigenous Practices

Baba Ramdev appealed to all citizens to adopt swadeshi (indigenous) practices to strengthen India’s economy and spiritual heritage. He stated that India today possesses the capability to play a significant role on the global stage. According to him, it is time to reject the colonial-era Macaulay education system and boycott all symbols associated with British rule to accelerate the country’s development.

Vision for India’s Economic Strength

He expressed a strong vision where the Indian rupee would one day be valued at 100 dollars, highlighting the potential if 1.4 billion Indians unite in their efforts. Baba Ramdev pointed out that despite India’s emerging power, some countries still restrict visa-free entry for Indian citizens. He warned that without empowering ourselves, countries hostile to India may turn away from the nation.

Unity Beyond Religion for National Strength

Addressing the need for unity, Baba Ramdev urged people not to be divided in the name of religion but to remember that all are children of the same ancestor. He expressed confidence that such unity would help India emerge as a powerful nation on the world stage. He called for collective action to respond effectively to adversarial forces.
