
New Delhi, July 18: The Ayush Ministry has shared insights on the traditional practice of Gandusha to promote oral health. This information was released on Saturday.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, the Ayush Ministry stated, “Start your day with Gandusha, an ancient Ayurvedic oral care practice that aids in overall mouth health.”
The ministry emphasized that incorporating this traditional mouth rinse into a healthy routine can help reduce thirst, enhance taste perception, and maintain natural oral cleanliness. “Adopt this simple daily habit and experience the benefits of Ayurveda. Focus on one mindful habit at a time,” they advised.
Just the day before, the Ayush Ministry had shared information about Ardhachakrasana. In their post, they noted, “Ardhachakrasana (Half Wheel Pose) improves spinal flexibility, strengthens back muscles, and promotes better posture. Regular practice, under proper guidance, can also assist in managing cervical spondylosis.”
Additionally, the ministry recently highlighted the importance of a balanced lifestyle for women, from becoming a mother to motherhood. They stated, “Adopting a balanced lifestyle is crucial for the health of both mother and child. Adequate rest, good hygiene, regular physical activity, and timely antenatal check-ups contribute to a healthy pregnancy and positive childbirth experience.”
The Ayush Ministry concluded by stating, “Today’s small, mindful habits can help create a healthier future for you and your child.”
