Ranchi, June 17: Late Tuesday night, an attempted attack occurred at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office located in Nivaranpur, Ranchi. Two assailants targeted the office by throwing two petrol bombs. Fortunately, the bombs did not reach the office premises, and there were no reports of any damage. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. Ranchi police are currently investigating the matter.

According to preliminary investigations, two unidentified young men approached the office premises and threw petrol bombs. It was discovered that the bombs were made using glass bottles filled with petrol, typically used for chili sauce. One bomb fell near the boundary wall, while the other also failed to reach the office area, preventing any potential harm.

Ranchi’s City SP, Paras Rana, stated that upon receiving information about the incident, police and forensic teams were dispatched to the scene. Evidence has been collected, and a thorough investigation is underway. So far, the involvement of two young men has been established. Police have also obtained footage from nearby CCTV cameras, which shows the two suspects attempting to throw petrol bombs at the office. Efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend them.

During the investigation, some local potential motives have emerged. Residents have reported an ongoing dispute between the RSS office and a nearby hotel. However, the police have not made any official comments on this matter, stating that all angles are being examined.
