Mumbai, June 23: Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is thrilled about his younger sister Anshula Kapoor’s upcoming wedding. Anshula is set to tie the knot with her fiancé Rohan Thakkar, and preparations for the celebration are in full swing within the Kapoor family.
On Tuesday, Arjun shared several photos and videos from the engagement ceremony on his official Instagram account. Alongside the posts, he penned a heartfelt message for his sister.
He wrote, “Ansh, this is just the beginning. One evening has passed, and I already feel that time will fly by. I am incredibly happy and excited for both of you. I can’t wait for the wedding celebrations to begin.”
The festivities related to Anshula Kapoor’s wedding commenced recently with a ‘Mata Ki Chowki’ event. On this occasion, Anshula’s aunt and actor Sanjay Kapoor’s wife, Maheep Kapoor, shared numerous photos and videos on social media.
Maheep captioned her post, “The wedding celebrations have begun… Jai Mata Di.”
Anshula also shared some unseen pictures from the prayer ceremony, expressing her emotions in a touching note. She revealed that the wedding festivities began with the Mata Ki Chowki organized lovingly by Rohan’s family.
Anshula wrote, “21/6/26 love, family, and blessings. Our wedding celebrations started with the Mata Ki Chowki, graciously hosted by Rohan’s family. Wearing the Phulkari dupatta on this occasion was incredibly special for me. It symbolizes Punjabi tradition, heritage, craftsmanship, and the blessings of women passed down through generations. For Punjabi brides, Phulkari has been a part of life’s most significant milestones, and there couldn’t be a better start to my new journey with Rohan.”
The ceremony photos featured several members of the Kapoor family, including Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor. However, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor were not present at the event.
