
New Delhi, May 1: The Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) has officially announced the recruitment process for nine Deputy Council (Assistant Lawyer) positions. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to apply.
The online application process commenced on Friday, with the final date for submission set for May 30. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can register on the official website until 5:00 PM on the deadline date.
Applicants must be registered as advocates under the Advocates Act, 1961, with at least three years of experience after obtaining their qualifications from any state bar council.
Additionally, candidates should possess a diploma or postgraduate degree/LLM in arbitration law, commercial law, or alternative dispute resolution (ADR). They must also demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, writing ability, and proficiency in computer usage, including knowledge of various legal research engines and processes such as Manupatra, SCC Online, and Westlaw.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 35 years, calculated as of May 1. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on document verification, interviews, and other stages, with a monthly salary of ₹100,000 for selected candidates.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official DIAC website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all requested information in the form and upload the required documents in the correct size. Finally, check the registration form and submit it. It is advisable to print out the application form for future reference.
