Anupam Kher Launches New Acting School in Delhi, Calls Capital a Hub of Courage and Art

Veteran Hindi film actor Anupam Kher, known for his versatile acting skills, has opened a new acting school in Delhi to nurture local talent. Having established his acting school, Actors Preparatory, in Mumbai over the past 21 years, Kher is now expanding his vision to the capital city, providing aspiring actors in Delhi an opportunity to pursue their dreams without fear.

The inauguration of the new school took place on January 31, with Kher expressing his happiness about this development. He shared in a video message, “The capital has now become a home for courage and art. It is a place where talent is refined, weaknesses turn into strengths, and dreams are nurtured with honesty and discipline. If somewhere inside you hear the question ‘What if?’ and acting is the dream you have postponed until now, this is your moment.”

Anupam Kher highlighted the success of his Mumbai school, which has trained several superstars like Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, and Hrithik Roshan. He said, “We have witnessed these stars come to our classes filled with hope, fear, and unwavering dreams, and emerge as actors who dared to believe and created their unique success stories.”

With this new initiative, Kher aims to lay the foundation for the future of cinema in Delhi, allowing local artists to breathe life into their craft without the regret of ‘what could have been.’ The opening event was attended by Kher’s co-star from ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla-2’, Boman Irani, who joined in welcoming the city’s artists to the school.

This new center promises to be a significant platform for Delhi’s acting community, encouraging young talent to pursue their aspirations with confidence and discipline.
