Anand Dubey Criticizes Law and Order in Nashik, Calls for Action Against Criminal Activities

Mumbai, April 10: Anand Dubey, a leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), has criticized the Fadnavis government regarding the law and order situation in the state. He stated that Nashik has now become a hub for criminals.

In a conversation in Mumbai, Dubey highlighted recent incidents, including the Ashok Kharat case and another involving a Baba running an NGO. He pointed out that cases of ‘love jihad’ and religious conversions are emerging in IITs and multinational companies. Numerous criminal activities have been reported, with several FIRs filed against individuals. This indicates that Nashik has become a ‘fear-free’ zone for criminals.

Dubey urged the Home Minister and Chief Minister to focus on local issues rather than getting distracted by promotions from other states. He emphasized the need to strengthen law enforcement in the state. Criminals tarnishing the reputation of Nashik, known for its sacred connection to Lord Ram and Panchavati, must be thoroughly investigated. Any wrongdoing, especially with foreign links, should not go unpunished.

Commenting on the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran, Dubey sarcastically remarked on Pakistan’s role, stating that the country is perpetually begging for aid. He questioned who would award Pakistan a Nobel Prize. Dubey believes that the war should cease, as it is not a solution to problems; only peace can provide resolution, and the end should be non-violence. He asserted that Pakistan has no significant role in the ceasefire, and statements from leaders like Shahbaz Sharif and Donald Trump will not change the situation. He suggested that this year, Pakistan should receive a ‘Beggar Award’ and be given a bowl to collect donations from the world.

Regarding the West Bengal assembly elections, he noted that both parties are accusing each other. He mentioned a leaked video of Humayun Kabir, which allegedly discusses deceiving Muslims, expressing uncertainty about its authenticity.

On the Women’s Reservation Bill, Dubey stated that there has been a long-standing demand for its robust implementation. He stressed that discussing and legislating is one thing, but enforcing it is crucial. Half of the country’s population deserves justice and rights. All parties, including the opposition and the government, are advocating for this cause. It has been suggested that new seats may be added after the 2029 reservation, potentially increasing the Lok Sabha to 800 seats. He called for a vigorous debate on this issue, urging all parties to unite in support of women’s reservation.
