Mumbai, June 18: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has once again amused his fans with his witty remarks. He stated that a 24-hour day is not enough and suggested it should be extended to 36 hours, as there is still so much left to do. However, he humorously concluded that it was time to watch a football match.
Known as the ‘Shahenshah’ of Bollywood, Bachchan shared his thoughts on the scarcity of time in his blog. He wrote, “There is so much to do in 24 hours; the day should be 36 hours long. Then, life’s philosophy suggests that we would need 48 hours to discuss it.”
He further reflected on how time continuously moves forward, and everything progresses with it.
In his blog, while discussing watching a football match, he added, “So, let’s watch the game that is played with feet.”
On his social media platform X, he posted, “T 5775 – Hahahaha.. what fun it was..!” This post was likely related to the 1-1 draw match between Portugal and Congo during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy with the sequel to his upcoming film ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ Directed by Nag Ashwin, this fantasy science-fiction film features prominent actors like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. The story is set in a dystopian future (2898 AD) centered around the city of Kashi, where a mission unfolds to protect a pregnant woman and her unborn child, linked to Lord Vishnu’s final avatar, Kalki.
