New Delhi, June 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to the social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday to share an inspiring Sanskrit quote. He posted, “सत्यानुसारिणी लक्ष्मीः कीर्तिस्त्यागानुसारिणी. अभ्याससारिणी विद्या बुद्धिः कर्मानुसारिणी..” This translates to: Wealth follows truth, fame follows altruism, knowledge follows practice, and wisdom follows action.
On Wednesday, PM Modi shared another quote, stating, “Sincere respect and acceptance bring pride and satisfaction to an individual. This not only boosts self-confidence but also infuses new energy and enthusiasm.”
He also shared a Sanskrit verse, “त्वत्सम्भावितमात्मानं बहु मन्यामहे वयम्. प्रायः प्रत्ययमाधत्ते स्वगुणेषूत्तमादरः.” The Hindi meaning conveys that being respectfully acknowledged by others makes us feel immensely honored and blessed, as it is true that the respect given by great individuals awakens self-confidence regarding our own qualities.
On June 16, PM Modi emphasized the importance of patience, wisdom, and foresight, stating, “Only through actions taken with patience and insight can the doors to happiness and prosperity open. Therefore, it is crucial to make well-informed decisions, as a thoughtful step lays the foundation for success.”
He shared another Sanskrit verse, “सहसा विदधीत न क्रियामविवेकः परमापदां पदम्. वृणते हि विमृश्यकारिणं गुणलुब्धाः स्वयमेव सम्पदः॥” This translates to: One should not act impulsively, as thoughtless actions can lead to significant troubles. Conversely, those who act after careful consideration are chosen by success and prosperity.
