Chandigarh, July 24: Renowned singer and former MP Hans Raj Hans, alongside his son Yuvraj Hans, launched the teaser for their new song “Aaja Doven Nachiye” on Friday. During the teaser launch, he addressed the ongoing protests related to the NEET paper leak.
In an interview, Hans emphasized that instead of demanding resignations, concrete steps should be taken to improve the system. He stated, “Young students are the future of our country. Perhaps a statement has been issued by the government in the interest of the children. Demanding someone’s resignation will not solve anything; it is better to call for reforms.”
He further elaborated, “If I sing and the notes are off, you would suggest that I correct the notes. We should use better words. You cannot say I should stop singing.”
When asked if his son would enter politics in the future, he replied, “I don’t think much about the future, but if it happens, he will definitely come.”
Regarding the upcoming elections in Punjab, he admitted that he does not have a deep understanding of politics. However, he acknowledged that he has been appointed as the chairman and vice-chairman of the commission. He expressed gratitude to all the parties that made him an MP but reiterated, “If you do not have an understanding or passion for something, you should not engage in it.”
It is noteworthy that Hans Raj Hans has collaborated with his son Yuvraj Hans on the song “Aaja Doven Nachiye,” with the teaser released on Friday.
