Mumbai, June 13: Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has accomplished an impressive feat by shooting 12 short films and conducting two still photo shoots in a single day. He shared this news with his fans through his blog.
Affectionately referring to his fans as his extended family (EF), Bachchan emphasized the importance of continuous engagement with his audience. In his blog, he stated, “Work is work… work is work… work is work!!! Today, I shot 12 short films, completed two still shoots, and now I’m working for you all. This connection should never pause; everything else can wait.”
Amitabh, who enjoys blogging, further advised that thorough preparation and practice are essential before any workday. He stressed that one should never compromise, regardless of the circumstances. He noted, “One must study diligently. Complete preparation is crucial before a workday, and never compromise, even if you’re wearing an air-conditioned pajama.”
Currently, Bachchan is busy shooting for director Nag Ashwin’s film “Kalki 2898 AD.” This mythological science-fiction film features prominent actors such as Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in key roles.
The first part of the film, set in a dystopian future, revolves around a group on a mission to protect an unborn child, believed to be the final avatar of Lord Vishnu, “Kalki,” against the backdrop of the city of Kashi.
Amitabh was last seen in the action thriller “Vettaiyan,” directed by T.J. Gnanavel, alongside stars like Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and others. The film’s plot centers on a senior police officer who accidentally shoots an innocent person during a confrontation and subsequently investigates the murder of a teacher.
