
New Delhi, August 22: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) on Saturday across 200 centers nationwide. A total of 36,979 candidates registered for the first shift of the exam, with 35,788 successfully completing it. However, at the Shri Satya Sai PG College center in Jaipur, 49 candidates were unable to finish their exam due to a power outage.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, the NTA stated, “The AIAPGET exam on August 22, 2026, was held for 36,979 registered candidates, with 35,837 participating across 200 centers nationwide.”
The NTA further noted, “While 35,788 candidates completed their exams, 49 candidates at the Shri Satya Sai PG College center, where 192 candidates participated, could not finish due to the power outage. This issue arose from the agency responsible for conducting the exam, Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited.”
The NTA expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the candidates who could not complete their exams. A re-test for these candidates is scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 10 AM at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur.
Additionally, the NTA informed candidates that further details regarding the revised admit cards for those whose exams were incomplete will be provided soon.
It is important to note that the AIAPGET is a national-level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate (MD/MS/PG Diploma) courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (Ayush).
