Mumbai, April 14: Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of its new TV S Mini LED Series 2026 in India, set for April 15, 2026. This series aims to enhance the company’s premium television lineup, featuring advanced Mini LED technology for superior visuals. The TVs will be available in three sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch.
The TV S Mini LED Series is designed to deliver exceptional picture quality through local dimming technology. By utilizing thousands of smaller LEDs, the TV creates multiple dimming zones, allowing for precise light management. This results in brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and higher contrast, producing sharper images and lifelike visuals. The setup minimizes light bleed and enhances depth across all scenes, whether viewers are enjoying movies, sports, or other content.
Additionally, Xiaomi is incorporating Quantum MagiQ technology into the lineup. This feature boosts color accuracy, enhances contrast, and provides clearer images, aiming to elevate the overall viewing experience.
The new TVs will also emphasize seamless connectivity within Xiaomi’s ecosystem. The TV S Mini LED Series is designed to integrate effortlessly with Xiaomi smartphones, tablets, and smart home devices, positioning the TVs as a central hub for connected home technology and offering users a more unified and intuitive experience.
While Xiaomi has not yet disclosed pricing details for the Indian market, this launch reflects the company’s strategy to focus on premium offerings in the television sector.
In related news, Xiaomi recently announced an update to its TV software. The Xiaomi TV Desktop 4.0, unveiled in China, includes enhancements such as vertical navigation, live match reminders, and improved playback history. However, there is currently no confirmation regarding its global availability.
In other developments, Hisense has introduced the Vidda S Mini TV, which features Mini LED technology, a 180Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Audio.
