Nagpur, August 25: Senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar announced that Rahul Gandhi will host the ‘Student Echo’ program. He expressed support for the upcoming CJP protest on September 5, addressing various educational issues.
While providing details about ‘Student Echo’, Wadettiwar stated, “No discussions have taken place yet. Rahul Gandhi has agreed to visit Nagpur, but the date is still to be confirmed. The ‘Student Echo’ program will be held in Nagpur, and we will inform you once the date is set.”
Regarding the CJP protest on September 5, Wadettiwar emphasized, “Whenever students and youth take to the streets for their rights or raise their voices against issues in the education system, we will stand with them. Students and youth are the future of our country. The way they are being treated and the corruption in the education system is detrimental to the younger generation. We will support those who fight against this.”
On Rajnath Singh’s comments about reservations, the Congress leader remarked, “We are not against reservations, but let Rajnath clarify who wants to end them. We will also observe their dual role.”
Commenting on a letter from Rahul Gandhi to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis concerning tribal students, Wadettiwar said, “Tribal students have faced various issues, which they shared with Rahul Gandhi during the ‘Student Echo’ program. He took their concerns seriously and wrote to the Chief Minister. Students are facing numerous challenges, and new rules are being implemented that negatively affect them. This is unacceptable. Rahul Gandhi stands against the government’s flawed policies.”
In response to Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s remarks about Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader stated, “He keeps dreaming unrealistic dreams. He shows no concern for the Constitution or society. He runs wherever he finds a chair. What can he teach us?”
