VHP Leader Vinod Bansal Responds to Digvijay Singhs Remarks on Congresss Anti-Hindu Stance

New Delhi, May 17: In response to Congress leader Digvijay Singh’s comments regarding the Dhar-Bhojshala issue, Vinod Bansal, a leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has sharply criticized the Congress party. He stated that labeling Hindus as terrorists is ingrained in the DNA of Congress.

Bansal pointed out that this is the same Congress whose leader, Sonia Gandhi, refused to accept the Allahabad High Court’s decision on the Ram Temple. Instead, she approached the Supreme Court, assembling a team of 25 lawyers. When the verdict did not favor her expectations, she even initiated impeachment proceedings against the Chief Justice.

He emphasized that Congress’s anti-Hindu character is evident. Digvijay Singh, who has served as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has contributed to the delay in resolving this matter. Bansal questioned whether it is the role of confused leaders like Singh to implement the Worship Act in ASI-protected areas, or if that responsibility lies with the courts.

Bansal urged Congress to move beyond its anti-Hindu mindset, suggesting that the party is nearing its end. He noted that Congress once relied on communists for support and is now attempting to navigate communal issues.

He also commented on Maulana Mahmood Madani, a prominent Muslim leader, criticizing his attempts to incite and mislead Muslim youth towards anti-national agendas. Bansal highlighted that Madani has opposed the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the national song, Vande Mataram, which he believes symbolizes the sacrifices made for India’s freedom.

Bansal reiterated that the VHP is now opposing decisions regarding Bhojshala, having previously opposed the Ram Temple and the practice of triple talaq. He accused Congress of failing to advocate for women’s rights in Islam while presenting a hardline stance when it comes to the UCC.
