Uttarkashi, August 9: The case of Indramani, who has been stranded in Saudi Arabia for eight years, has now reached the government level. Suresh Chauhan, the Gangotri MLA, met with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to urge effective measures for Indramani Nautiyal’s return. During the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami assured that he would communicate with the Ministry of External Affairs regarding the matter.
Indramani Nautiyal hails from the village of Gorasada in the Dunda block.
MLA Suresh Chauhan provided all necessary documents related to Indramani to the Chief Minister, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. The Chief Minister responded positively, promising to correspond and engage with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. He stated that necessary actions would be taken based on the available documents.
It is noteworthy that Indramani Nautiyal has been stuck in Saudi Arabia for the past eight years. There is growing public support in the region for his return, with many people joining the campaign through social media to assist his family. Recently, MLA Suresh Chauhan visited Gorasada to meet Indramani’s family and assured them that he would raise their concerns prominently.
During the meeting with the Chief Minister, MLA Chauhan also extended an invitation to attend the Butter Festival, scheduled for August 17 at the world-famous Dayara Bugyal. Additionally, various development projects, public welfare schemes, and current issues related to the Gangotri assembly constituency were discussed in detail.
MLA Suresh Chauhan stated that he received positive assurances and necessary guidance during the conversation with the Chief Minister, strengthening hopes for Indramani Nautiyal’s safe return.
