Dehradun, April 4: In a significant police operation in the Rajpur area of Dehradun, two suspects were apprehended following a gunfight. One of the suspects sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the police’s retaliatory action and has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities are now pursuing further investigations into the case.

According to reports, police received intelligence regarding the location of suspects involved in the murder of Brigadier Mukesh. The police were already conducting an extensive checking operation when they received information about the suspects’ presence near Johri village. Acting swiftly, the police team initiated a blockade to apprehend the criminals.

As the police pursued the suspects, they fled into the forests of Guniyaal village. The police managed to capture one suspect on the spot, while the other attempted to escape deeper into the woods. During the chase, the cornered suspect opened fire on the police.
