New Delhi, April 10: The Delhi police have arrested 11 individuals in two separate operations, uncovering a terror module. Authorities recovered nine CCTV cameras from the suspects. These cameras were reportedly installed in various sensitive locations across the country. This information was disclosed by Pramod Singh Kushwaha, Additional CP of the Special Cell.
Kushwaha revealed that four pistols, smuggled across the border, were also seized. Investigations indicate that the module was operated by Pakistan’s ISI and the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) network. Young men were reportedly used to install the cameras, funded by money obtained from smuggling activities.
To install the CCTV cameras, the suspects targeted roads near security and defense establishments, allowing them to monitor live movements in these areas. Kushwaha noted that most of the arrested individuals are from Punjab, with a few from Delhi, including Rajesh and Rohit. The cameras were sourced from various companies.
