Twisha Sharmas Family Remembers Her Deep Connection to Rishikesh

Bhopal, May 30: The family of Twisha Sharma gathered on Friday at Triveni Ghat to immerse her ashes. Twisha’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, reflected on her profound bond with Rishikesh.

In an interview with a news agency, he stated, “Twisha had participated in yoga classes here and completed 300 hours of professional yoga training. They didn’t just kill my daughter; they killed love itself. They have taken away a pure love from my life. Those responsible are the same people.”

Navnidhi Sharma emphasized that their struggle is far from over. He said, “Now that the CBI is investigating the case, our hopes have significantly increased. We will have to see what happens next.”

Twisha’s cousin, Naina Sharma, shared, “Today, we immersed Twisha’s ashes in Rishikesh. She loved this place. Legal actions are ongoing, and we will do everything possible to ensure this case is transferred to Delhi. The case against Giribala Singh and Samarth Singh should not remain just paperwork; they must be punished.”

Twisha’s brother, Major Harshit Sharma, noted, “There have been significant developments in this case. According to the latest information, the CBI has taken charge, and things are finally moving forward.”

Meanwhile, in Bhopal, Twisha Sharma’s family lawyer, Anurag Srivastava, made a bold claim, stating that the accused no longer have grounds to object, as the High Court has already rejected Giribala Singh’s anticipatory bail.

He explained, “We presented all the facts before the court, detailing why custodial interrogation is essential. After considering all these facts, the High Court denied anticipatory bail. The CBI now has full authority to investigate.”

Anurag Srivastava also raised serious allegations regarding tampering with CCTV footage. He stated, “Before the footage was seized, certain selective parts were removed. Not only were parts deleted, but the footage was also tampered with.”

He reiterated that the family has consistently claimed attempts to influence the case and tamper with evidence, a matter that has also been presented before the High Court by the state government and the CBI.
