Washington, June 12: President Donald Trump has accused Iran of disseminating false information. He stated that negotiating in good faith with Iran is impossible. Additionally, Trump held Iran responsible for the deaths of three Indian sailors in an attack near the coast of Oman.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The conditions leaked to the fake news media by Iran have nothing to do with the terms we agreed upon in writing. Their statements, including their weak and useless remarks about negotiations, have no basis in truth. Dealing with such people is utterly humiliating. It is impossible to negotiate in good faith with them.”
Referring to the attack on Indian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, he said, “The drone attack on Indian ships leaving the region last night is completely unacceptable.”
Earlier, Trump mentioned at the White House that negotiations had reached their final stages. After weeks of conflict, documents are being prepared for what he described as a significant diplomatic achievement.
Trump stated, “We have just reached a major agreement with Iran regarding war, and we are finalizing the documents, which should be completed in the coming days. We have an agreement that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, and everything we did was aimed at achieving that.”
He added that the agreement is nearing completion and could be signed in Europe by the end of the week. When asked if Iran’s Supreme Leader approved the arrangement, Trump responded, “I believe the answer is yes.”
Trump emphasized that the proposed agreement will prevent Iran from acquiring or developing nuclear weapons under any circumstances. He asserted, “They will not buy or develop nuclear weapons in any way, shape, or form. They will not have nuclear weapons.”
