Netanyahu Vows to Prevent Iran from Acquiring Nuclear Weapons

Jerusalem, June 13: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Friday that he will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons as long as he holds office. He emphasized that he and U.S. President Donald Trump are in complete agreement on this critical issue.

Netanyahu took to social media platform X, stating, “As long as I am Prime Minister of Israel, Iran will not have nuclear weapons. President Trump and I are fully aligned on this matter. For over 30 years, I have led the international campaign against Iran’s nuclear program.”

He further asserted, “Without this campaign, Iran would have already possessed nuclear bombs to eliminate Israel. Iran is attempting to destroy the Jewish state, and I am dedicating my life to preventing that from happening. While I am Prime Minister, it will not occur.”

This statement from Netanyahu followed President Trump’s announcement that Iran had approved a framework agreement with the U.S. aimed at permanently preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Formal signatures on the agreement are expected in the coming days.

At the White House, Trump noted that negotiations had reached their final stages, and documents were being prepared for what he described as a significant diplomatic achievement after weeks of intense discussions.

Trump stated, “We have just reached a major agreement with Iran regarding war, and we are finalizing the documents, which should be completed in the next few days. We have an agreement that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, and everything we have done was aimed at achieving this.”

When asked if Iran’s Supreme Leader had approved the arrangement, Trump replied, “I understand the answer is yes.”

The proposed agreement aims to prevent Iran from acquiring or developing nuclear weapons under any circumstances. Trump emphasized that they will not buy or develop nuclear weapons in any form.

He added, “This is a very detailed memorandum of understanding, which has also received support from several other countries that have significant influence over Iran. Following this success, he has spoken with leaders from Israel, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Recent military pressure has convinced Tehran to accept this agreement.”
