Tragic Food Poisoning Incident Claims Young Life in Bihar

Patna, April 9: A tragic incident has emerged from Bhabua, Bihar, where a 20-year-old man reportedly died after consuming food from a local restaurant. His younger brother and a friend also fell ill.

The deceased has been identified as Vishal Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Sarangpur. Following the incident, local authorities sealed the restaurant where the food was purchased.

According to officials, Vishal, along with his brother Vinayak Tiwari and friend Devaraj Kumar Singh, ordered Manchurian and Kadai Paneer from the restaurant on Tuesday night. They consumed the meal around 10:30 PM.

Later that night, all three began experiencing severe health issues, including vomiting. Their condition worsened by early morning, prompting the family to rush them to Sadar Hospital.

Family members reported that the trio was admitted around 4:30 AM, where doctors declared Vishal dead. However, the family accused the hospital of negligence, claiming he was pronounced dead without proper examination and that their concerns were ignored.

In a shocking turn of events, after Vishal was declared dead, family members noticed movement in his body. They immediately took him to a private hospital, where doctors allegedly confirmed that he had died just minutes earlier, raising serious questions about the handling of the case at the government hospital.

The hospital administration has denied all allegations of negligence. Upon receiving the information, officials, including Amit Kumar and Aniket Amar, visited the hospital to assess the situation.

The police have registered an FIR based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s father.
