Chhattisgarh Security Forces Dismantle Naxalite Memorial in Narayanpur

Raipur, July 30: Security forces have successfully dismantled a Naxalite memorial during a joint search operation in Toyapara village, under the Dhanora police station in Narayanpur district.

This action is part of ongoing and intensive search operations in areas recently liberated from Naxalite influence. A joint team of Chhattisgarh police and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), with the assistance of local villagers, executed this operation.

The memorial, constructed by a Naxalite organization, aimed to showcase their influence in the region and serve as a propaganda tool. Officials reported that the area has been cleared of active Naxalites, and security forces are now focused on eliminating any remaining traces and influence of the banned organization.

The demolition of the memorial is viewed as a step towards removing visible signs of Naxalite propaganda and restoring normalcy in the region. Narayanpur police and other security agencies are conducting continuous anti-Naxal operations throughout the district.

These efforts aim to establish lasting peace, enhance security, and create a conducive environment for development in villages that have been affected in the past. Officials emphasized that these operations are being carried out systematically to prevent any resurgence of Naxalite activities or ideology.

Local residents are cooperating with security forces, providing information and support during the search operations. The Narayanpur police have urged the public to report any information related to Naxalite activities to the nearest police station or security forces. They assured that the identities of informants would be kept completely confidential.

Authorities noted that such measures and development initiatives are increasing trust among villagers and strengthening the administrative presence in the area. The consistent deployment of security forces and regular search operations demonstrate the state’s firm resolve to permanently rid the region of left-wing extremism.

The dismantling of the memorial serves as another clear indication of administrative control in the Naxal-free areas of Narayanpur district.
