New Delhi, May 31: Tiffany Trump, daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, arrived in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, with her husband, Michael Boulos. U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gore, was present to welcome them, describing Jaisalmer as “beautiful” in a post on social media platform X.
Tiffany and Michael landed in Jaisalmer on Sunday via a private jet. Upon their arrival at the civil airport, they were greeted in accordance with Rajasthani culture and traditions.
In light of their visit, local authorities have heightened security measures. Jaisalmer is a sensitive border district, prompting officials to closely monitor security arrangements at tourist hotspots. Stakeholders in Jaisalmer’s tourism industry, including hotel operators and tour guides, are excited about the potential boost from this visit.
Reports indicate that Tiffany and her husband will stay at the luxurious Suryagarh Hotel during their trip. Tiffany plans to explore several famous historical sites in Jaisalmer, including the renowned Sonar Fort (Jaisalmer Fort), Patwon Ki Haveli, and Gadisar Lake. Their visit is expected to conclude on Monday. Tiffany began her private tour of India in New Delhi.
On Friday, Tiffany and Michael visited the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple, where Tiffany shared photos of the temple’s architecture on social media. The couple then traveled to Agra on Saturday to see the Taj Mahal, capturing various poses at the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Previously, in November 2018, Tiffany’s sister, Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner attended a high-profile wedding at the Suryagarh Hotel. During that event, Rajasthan police and U.S. security officials implemented strict security measures around the venue.
