Mumbai, August 3: South Indian cinema superstar Suriya is renowned for his powerful performances and diverse roles. Throughout his extensive career, he has delivered numerous films showcasing his acting versatility. Currently, Suriya is thrilled about his upcoming film, ‘Vishwanath and Sons.’
This family entertainer beautifully blends relationships, love, emotions, and comedy. During the audio launch of the film, Suriya shared insights about the project, stating that it will add a new dimension to his career.
At the audio launch event in Coimbatore, Suriya revealed that he has already watched the film and is extremely pleased with how it has turned out. He emphasized the uniqueness of the story and the portrayal of his character. Suriya praised director Venky Atluri for his vision and writing.
While commending Atluri, Suriya remarked, “Venky mentioned he dreamed of working with me, but I believe it was I who had that dream. I loved his film ‘Lucky.’ His storytelling style captivated me, which is why I was excited to collaborate with him.”
Suriya further noted that various directors have given him different identities throughout his career. He stated, “Different directors have shaped my identity. ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ will provide me with yet another new identity, thanks to Venky Atluri. It has been a long time since I played a character that is truly special to me.”
The actor also praised the film’s narrative and characters. He highlighted Atluri’s ability to understand and portray relationships beautifully on screen. “I am a fan of his writing style. This film features three female characters, all of whom have been written beautifully. Each character holds significance, and the audience will connect with them,” Suriya added.
Discussing the film, Suriya said, “‘Vishwanath and Sons’ is a movie that will keep smiles on the audience’s faces. It skillfully intertwines family, romance, and comedy. The way all characters are presented will leave a lasting impact throughout the story.”

Notably, ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ is produced by Surya Devara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The film stars Mamta Baiju in a leading role, with actress Radhika Sarathkumar also playing a significant character. The film is set to release in theaters on August 14.
