New Delhi, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : A stabbing incident occurred in Paharganj, New Delhi, on Saturday, leading to injuries for two individuals. The local police station received a PCR call reporting the incident.
Upon arrival at the main market near the Satyam T-point, officers discovered that two men had sustained knife wounds during a dispute involving a person named Ram. The injured parties were identified as a 41-year-old auto-rickshaw driver and a 40-year-old hotel room facilitator.
Both victims were transported to Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) hospital by bystanders, where it was confirmed they had knife injuries to their abdomens and are currently receiving treatment.
Initial investigations suggest that Ram allegedly stabbed both men during the altercation. Police are registering a case under relevant charges related to attempted murder and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
In a separate case on the same day, a shooting incident took place in Munger, Bihar, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old boy, Kishan Kumar, during treatment. This incident occurred in the Safiyabad police station area, where the teenager was shot in the head.
According to SP Syed Imran Masood, initial inquiries revealed that the shooting stemmed from a harassment dispute involving the victim’s sister. A group of individuals allegedly called the boy and shot him over this prior incident.
The shooting transpired just 100 meters from the Safiyabad police station, behind the Charbhuja Marble and Granite warehouse on National Highway-80. Police are actively working to identify and apprehend those involved in the shooting.
