Job Acquisition is an Achievement, Serving People is the True Responsibility: Ram Mohan Naidu

New Delhi, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu stated on Saturday that securing a job is an achievement, but the real responsibility lies in serving the people. He expressed his joy at handing over appointment letters to 200 youths in Visakhapatnam as part of the nationwide “Employment Fair” led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a post on X, Naidu congratulated over 51,000 young individuals starting new jobs across the country. He urged them to embrace this opportunity to gain confidence in their lives and to serve society. “I appeal to you to keep learning, enhance your skills, and strive to provide better services to the people,” he said.

Naidu further congratulated all the young people joining government services, describing their new roles as a chance to serve society and the nation with dedication. “A new job means a new responsibility and a new chapter in nation-building,” he remarked.

Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri also participated in the 20th edition of the employment fair, engaging with the youth of Amritsar. He highlighted that as the nation progresses towards a developed India, young people are not just observers but are actively shaping the future with their ideas and determination.

Puri noted that the young individuals receiving appointment letters today are entering public service at a crucial time when technology is transforming governance. He emphasized that technology can never replace honesty and empathy, reminding everyone of Prime Minister Modi’s message, “Citizens are paramount.” He encouraged the new recruits to prioritize serving the country and its citizens above all.

The expanding startup ecosystem in India, along with advancements in manufacturing, digital services, electronics, and energy sectors, is creating new opportunities. Free trade agreements are opening new markets, partnerships, and career prospects for talented youth.

Puri added that significant reforms and initiatives are positioning India’s energy sector as a key player in ensuring energy security and a green transition. He highlighted efforts to strengthen the existing energy infrastructure while exploring new avenues, such as utilizing ocean energy through the “Samudra Manthan Mission” and converting waste into clean energy and jobs through the “Govardhan” scheme.
