Son Kills Father Over Minor Dispute in Bihar: Arrest Made

Bhagwa, July 1: A shocking incident has emerged from the Kaimur district of Bihar, where a son has killed his father over a trivial dispute. The incident occurred in Ismailpur village, located in the Chainpur police station area. The accused son has been arrested by the police.

The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Chulhan Bind, a resident of Barkatta Tola. The incident took place on Tuesday night. Police conducted a post-mortem examination on Wednesday after preparing the necessary documentation for the body. Following the autopsy, the body was handed over to the family.

Reports indicate that Sonu Bind had tied a goat in the corridor of their home. Chulhan Bind asked him to move the goat to another location. This request angered Sonu, leading to a heated argument between father and son. The dispute escalated quickly, resulting in Sonu attacking his father with sticks, leaving him severely injured.

After the incident, family members rushed the injured Chulhan Bind to the Chainpur Community Health Center. After initial treatment, he was referred to the Sadar Hospital for further care. Due to his critical condition, doctors recommended transferring him for better treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Varanasi. Following his death, the family brought the body to the Chainpur police station to report the incident.

Chainpur Station House Officer Vijay Prasad confirmed that the accused Sonu Bind has been swiftly arrested. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the law, and further legal proceedings are underway. The incident has left the deceased’s family in mourning, and the villagers are also in shock over this tragic event.
