New Delhi, July 28: Sarvesh Anil Kushare clinched a silver medal in the men’s high jump at the Commonwealth Games 2026, clearing a height of 2.25 meters. He narrowly missed the gold medal after three unsuccessful attempts at 2.28 meters. This remarkable achievement has garnered congratulations from President Droupadi Murmu and several other leaders.
President Droupadi Murmu took to social media platform ‘X’ to express her admiration, stating, “Congratulations to Sarvesh Anil Kushare for winning the silver medal in the men’s high jump event at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. Your outstanding performance has made India proud. Wishing you continued success in your future endeavors.”
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also shared his congratulations on ‘X’, saying, “Congratulations to Sarvesh Anil Kushare for winning the silver medal in the men’s high jump. Your remarkable achievements have brought immense pride to the nation and will inspire future generations of athletes.”
