Mumbai, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Anand Dubey, the spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), has dismissed reports claiming his expulsion from the party as completely false and misleading. He accused certain individuals of attempting to discredit the party through these unfounded allegations.
In a recent conversation, Dubey stated, “The party I represent is unaware of who is supposedly expelling me. The person being removed, Anand Dubey, is not even informed about this supposed expulsion. Yet, some people are spreading rumors that I have been dismissed or relieved of my duties.”
He further emphasized, “The party has confirmed that I have not been expelled. I have no information regarding any such decision. These rumors are baseless and part of a conspiracy to defame me and my party. Senior leaders have also labeled these expulsion claims as mere gossip.”
Dubey also addressed the necessity of Special Intensive Revision (SIR), stating, “No one is opposing SIR. It is essential and should be conducted regularly. However, it must not be used as a tool to weaken political parties, engage in corruption, or manipulate names for personal gain. This is happening in West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Delhi as well.”
On Tuesday morning, a statement was issued on Shiv Sena (UBT) letterhead announcing that Anil Desai had decided to expel Anand Dubey from the party effective immediately, based on information provided by Pandit Avadhesh Shukla. This decision had been communicated to the relevant organizational officials.
