Mumbai, June 17: Shiv Sena spokesperson Krishna Hegde stated on Wednesday that Sanjay Raut, a leader from the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), has been making continuous allegations for the past four and a half years. However, none of his claims have been substantiated with solid evidence.
Hegde remarked, “The way Raut discusses money and alleged scams suggests he has complete knowledge of these matters. He has failed to prove any of his allegations. Conversely, his statements have harmed his own party.”
He highlighted that under the leadership of Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the party has achieved success in five consecutive elections. The party is responding to opposition allegations through its work.
Commenting on the political situation in Uttar Pradesh, Hegde characterized the ongoing meetings between the Samajwadi Party and Congress regarding the 2027 assembly elections as “concern, not contemplation.” He noted that both parties faced significant defeats in the last election, while the BJP government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is focusing on public welfare and development.
Hegde claimed that law and order in Uttar Pradesh has improved, and the public is satisfied with the actions of the Yogi government. This satisfaction increases the likelihood of the BJP forming the government again in 2027.
In response to statements made by Jagadguru Rambhadraacharya regarding Kashi, Mathura, and Sambhal, Hegde emphasized that these issues are tied to the faith and sentiments of millions of Hindus. Just as a grand Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya, similar development should occur at religious sites like Kashi, Mathura, and Sambhal.
Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the G-7 summit, Hegde noted that the Prime Minister met with several global leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump, prioritizing India’s interests. Discussions on enhancing cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence, space technology, agriculture, industry, infrastructure, and health were held, which will benefit India in the future.
