Sanjay Raut Faces Criticism Over Social Media Post Amid Political Drama

Mumbai, June 24: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut is under fire from NDA leaders due to a recent social media post. In his post on X, Raut shared a photo stating that he has not lost courage and that the fight against the traitors of Maharashtra will continue.

In response to Raut’s post, BJP MP Manan Mishra suggested that a day may come when the news will report that Sanjay Raut has switched allegiances. He described the situation as political drama, claiming Raut is seeking an opportunity to separate from Uddhav Thackeray and join the NDA or align with Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Eknath Shinde’s faction. Mishra believes that Raut’s statements and antics are temporary, and he will eventually switch sides and join Shinde.

Maharashtra government minister Bharat Gogavale remarked that while Raut may show rifles today, he could display bombs tomorrow. However, he emphasized that such actions will not instill fear in anyone, as Raut’s political base has already diminished. He asserted that Shiv Sainiks are not intimidated by threats or violence.

Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske commented on Raut’s behavior, stating that it reflects the first stage of psychological distress. He noted that Raut is now in the second stage, following the departure of 40 MLAs, and will soon reach a third stage where he may completely lose his mental balance.

Mhaske questioned why Raut speaks of betrayal or money, asserting that the real betrayal came from Raut himself when he abandoned Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva ideology.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Krishna Hegde stated that Raut’s daily posts, press conferences, and insults towards political opponents do not affect them. He affirmed that they remain connected with the people, who continue to bless them.

Recently, six rebel MPs from Shiv Sena rejoined the party in the presence of Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. During this event, Raut criticized those who can be bought for crores of rupees, questioning their ability to serve the public good. Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde declared that Operation Tiger has been successful.
