Lucknow, July 20: Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad has sharply criticized the ‘Cockroach People’s Party’ march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament. He stated, “They are all like directionless missiles, akin to uninvited guests at a wedding. The opposition misleads the youth in this manner. Opposition leaders are only confusing and misleading the youth. They should undergo political training to gain power.”
Regarding the three conditions set by Sonam Wangchuk, he remarked, “He is an intellectual, but by associating with such individuals, he is putting his life at risk. Our government is trying to save them. The opposition has already betrayed the ideals of Gandhi and Ambedkar. Any protest should be conducted democratically.”
Minister Nishad emphasized that the core purpose of politics is to protect the interests of the public and create better laws for them. In a democracy, elected representatives are responsible for voicing the concerns of the people and legislating in their favor.
He stated, “Politics is like that of a guardian. The aim of politics is to safeguard public funds and interests. Only when there are healthy ideas and a healthy government can good laws for the public be enacted.”
In response to Prime Minister Modi’s statements regarding India’s youth and startups, Nishad noted that the country is rapidly advancing in the energy sector. He recalled that even during his intermediate studies, he contemplated new experiments, and today, technologies like hydrogen energy are becoming crucial for the nation’s future.
He remarked, “The country that possesses energy will progress. India is moving towards self-reliance in the energy sector, which will accelerate the nation’s development.”
Welcoming the bill related to ‘Vande Mataram’ presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Nishad stated that it is a matter of nationalism and that all classes and communities who sacrificed for the country should be honored.
He added, “All nationalists who contributed to the country’s independence should be respected. Initiatives related to honoring such individuals should be welcomed.” Regarding the Supreme Court‘s submission of the investigation report in the Ram Temple donation theft case, Nishad said it is part of the constitutional process. He praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for consistently advocating for the truth to be revealed.
He concluded, “The SIT report is now with the court. It will decide whether to make it public. If any mistakes occurred, they will be investigated. Everyone should respect the court’s orders.”
