
Beijing, July 20: Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, met with Thailand’s Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, on July 20 in Beijing.
During the meeting, Zhao emphasized that under the strategic leadership of both nations’ leaders, China-Thailand relations are experiencing one of their best phases in history. Just last week, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister Anutin in Shanghai, outlining a roadmap for a brighter future in bilateral relations. China aims to strengthen mutual political trust and expand practical cooperation by implementing key agreements made by the leaders. Additionally, China seeks to enhance legislative collaboration and experience exchange with Thailand to foster the development of a community with a shared future.
Prime Minister Anutin remarked that Thailand and China are good friends based on mutual respect and trust. The friendship between the people of both countries runs deep. Thailand remains committed to the One China policy and aims to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and legislative exchanges with China to achieve greater accomplishments in Thailand-China relations.
