Ayodhya, July 20: The jail administration in Ayodhya has refuted claims regarding VIP treatment for the accused in the Ram Temple donation theft case. Reports circulating in newspapers and digital media suggested that the eight detainees were receiving special privileges while incarcerated.
Mukesh Kumar, the superintendent of the district jail, clarified on Sunday that no such facilities are being provided to the accused. He stated that all inmates are treated according to the established rules, with no exceptions made for anyone.
Kumar emphasized that the allegations of VIP treatment for the donation theft suspects are completely unfounded. He confirmed that the eight accused are housed in a high-security barrack, where strict security measures are in place. Their activities are monitored continuously through CCTV cameras.
He added that all inmates are under constant surveillance, and CCTV footage can be reviewed at any time if necessary.
