Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Praises Yogi Government, Claims Rule of Law in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, April 3: Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, the chairperson of the National Backward Classes Commission, has expressed strong support for the Yogi government, asserting that Uttar Pradesh is witnessing the rule of law. She emphasized that justice is accessible without unnecessary delays, despite ongoing criticism from the Samajwadi Party and Congress regarding the state’s law and order situation.

While praising the Yogi administration, Sadhvi Jyoti noted that various parties have governed Uttar Pradesh, but she firmly believes that the current government upholds the law effectively.

Commenting on Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav’s rally in Dadri, she stated that elections come and go, and victories and defeats are part of the process. However, she stressed that society should not be divided, as the nation operates under the Constitution and the law.

Sadhvi Jyoti also took a jab at the TMC government in West Bengal, advising them to cease dividing society for political gain. She criticized interference in the justice process and claimed that the rights of the OBC community have been compromised in favor of a select group.

Regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, she remarked that the demand has been long-standing. A special session on April 16 will grant constitutional status to the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, for which she expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.

Reflecting on the past, she recalled that during Operation Sindoor, women led India’s efforts against adversaries, emphasizing the need for increased female participation in politics.

In response to statements made by Humayun Kabir and Owaisi in Bengal, she categorically rejected their remarks, asserting that no woman should be subjected to derogatory comments and that all citizens must operate within the framework of the Constitution and law.

Addressing inappropriate comments made by a cleric about Chief Minister Yogi, Sadhvi Jyoti stated that the Constitution does not grant anyone the right to make disrespectful remarks. She believes that the individual should publicly apologize.
