Mumbai, April 4: Actor Rajpal Yadav recently spent 13 days in Tihar Jail due to a check bounce case, a situation that has saddened many of his fans. He faces allegations of failing to repay millions of rupees, and the case is still pending in court.
For the first time, Yadav has shared his experiences of being incarcerated and emerging from it, stating that he is prepared for any circumstance life may throw at him.
Choreographer Farah Khan visited Yadav to shoot an episode of her show, where they reminisced about their early careers. Yadav recalled how Farah first taught him to dance for the film “Mast,” leading to numerous collaborations in the industry. He humorously noted that anyone who receives a reprimand from Farah Khan tends to rise as a superstar in cinema.
During their conversation, Farah asked Yadav about his feelings regarding his time in jail, prompting an emotional response. She inquired whether he felt the presence of his fans and if he sensed a change in how people viewed him. Initially laughing off the question, Yadav’s expression revealed deeper feelings as he responded, “When I came to Mumbai, I found one window, and after 26 years, I have many windows. There, it was not about fans but about a system and discipline.” When asked if he harbored any bitterness from the experience, he firmly stated, “No, I am ready to fight any situation.”
Farah remarked that this resilience is why Yadav always maintains a smile; he is incredibly strong on the inside.
It is important to note that Yadav’s case is still under consideration in court. During the last hearing, the court proposed a fixed amount, but both parties could not reach an agreement. The court is expected to announce its decision on the next date.
