Araria, April 3: Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal has criticized the TMC government regarding recent events in Malda, West Bengal. He stated that Malda has long been regarded as a hub for Bangladeshi infiltration.
Jaiswal condemned the violence in Malda, labeling it as a center for anti-national activities. He emphasized that the public has witnessed the lawlessness of TMC workers.
He pointed out that the Supreme Court has also reprimanded the TMC government in Bengal. However, he believes that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee remains unfazed by these criticisms.
Jaiswal remarked that Malda has been recognized for a considerable time as a gateway for infiltration. The recent incidents indicate that anti-national forces are using Malda as a route to spread their influence across the country.
While discussing India’s position amid ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, Jaiswal asserted that India is the first country where normalcy prevails despite war. He stated that India is prepared to face any situation.
On another note, Minister Jaiswal inaugurated development projects in Araria district. He announced the commencement of the road from Jayanagar to Ghurna, which connects to the India-Nepal border. This crucial road will enhance connectivity, serving both strategic and regional trade needs.
Addressing a gathering, he shared the government’s commitment to overall development, strengthening infrastructure, and improving public services. He affirmed that the goal is to accelerate development by connecting every region of the state with a robust road network.
