New Delhi, July 11: Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Chairperson of the National Backward Classes Commission and BJP leader, has responded to the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation controversy, the Badrinath donation issue, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy. She emphasized that the alleged donation matter related to the Ayodhya Ram Temple is tied to the faith of millions of devotees and called for a fair investigation.
In a conversation, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti stated that this issue is not merely about financial irregularities but is deeply connected to the sentiments of the devotees. The Uttar Pradesh government is taking the matter seriously, conducting investigations, and several arrests have already been made.
She expressed confidence that the truth will emerge once the investigation is complete. Furthermore, she suggested that to prevent such incidents in the future, the trust should implement a system that involves dedicated individuals associated with the Ram Temple movement in oversight and management roles.
Referring to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe the donation controversy, she urged everyone to remain patient until the investigation concludes and to avoid jumping to conclusions.
On the alleged donation controversy in Badrinath, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti remarked that the government is acting with utmost vigilance, and an SIT has also been established there. She noted that it is a positive development that such issues are being uncovered. According to her, after a fair investigation, action will be taken against the guilty, ensuring that no one dares to commit irregularities at religious sites in the future.
She described discrepancies in donations at religious sites as a significant sin, asserting that transparency and accountability are paramount in matters of faith.
Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti stated that since 2014, India has carved out a distinct identity on the global stage. She noted that the Prime Minister has strengthened friendly relations with various countries, and the enthusiasm of people during his visits reflects India’s growing respect. She emphasized that this respect belongs not only to the Prime Minister but to all of India and its citizens.
